A good idea without strategy will only ever be a good idea...but it's going nowhere.
In the same way that people confuse PR with Marketing, so others confuse strategy with tactics. In simple terms imagine that the strategy is to get from London to New York. The 'HOW' - namely by boat, aeroplane or a combination of the two - are the TACTICS.
